The Kids Are All Right
Two teenagers with two mothers track down the sperm donor listed on their birth records and bring him home to a dinner table nobody planned for. He turns out to be an easy, unattached man with a restaurant and a garden, and the marriage he wanders into has already worn thin. Cholodenko was praised for treating a same-sex family as a domestic problem, not a case to argue.
