Hannah and Her Sisters

Woody Allen · 1986 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

Three sisters in New York gather for Thanksgiving across two years while one's husband quietly pursues another, an architect courts the third, and a hypochondriac television producer walks out of a hospital convinced he is dying. Title cards break the strands up; the family dinners in the same apartment bring them back together. Allen's ensemble comedy is the most generous he made and took three Academy Awards.
