The Sickness

Alberto Barrera Tyszka · 2006 CE · Novel · Latin American · Contemporary

A Caracas doctor cannot bring himself to tell his father the diagnosis he has confirmed. Alongside this runs the story of a hypochondriac patient whose emails, anxious and intimate, reach him as if from a different illness. The book won the Premio Herralde and made Barrera Tyszka's name outside Venezuela.
