Zero Dark Thirty

Kathryn Bigelow · 2012 CE · Film · Modern / American · Contemporary

A young CIA analyst arrives at a black site during an interrogation and spends the next decade chasing a courier's name through detentions, bombings and briefings nobody believes. The trail narrows to a walled compound in Abbottabad that no one can confirm. Bigelow's procedural drew sustained public argument over whether its torture scenes present the practice as productive.
