Correction

Thomas Bernhard · 1975 CE · Novel · German · Contemporary

Roithamer, an Austrian scientist teaching at Cambridge, spends six years building a habitable cone for his sister at the exact centre of the Kobernausser forest, then leaves thousands of pages behind about it. The narrator moves into the garret where the work was done and begins to sort the papers, whose author corrected them, then corrected the correction. Ludwig Wittgenstein, who designed a house for his own sister, stands behind the figure.
