Right Ho, Jeeves

P. G. Wodehouse · 1934 CE · Novel · English · Modernist

Convinced that his valet has been running his life for too long, Bertie Wooster takes personal charge of two courtships at his aunt's Worcestershire house: a newt-fancying friend's pursuit of a soulful girl, and his cousin's quarrel with her fiancé. His method is to stop everybody eating and to send a lifelong teetotaller to hand out the prizes at a grammar school. The prize-giving is the most quoted set piece in English comic fiction.
