To begin at the beginning, a blind narrator walks the listener through a small Welsh fishing town on a spring night and into its dreams: Captain Cat among his drowned shipmates, Mog Edwards and Myfanwy Price writing letters they never post, Mrs Ogmore-Pritchard ordering her two dead husbands about. Morning comes and the same voices go about the day. Broadcast by the BBC weeks after Thomas died in New York.
