Milton: A Poem
A bard sings of a quarrel among Blake's own gods, and the poet John Milton, a hundred years dead and unhappy in heaven, decides the song is about him and goes back down to correct what he got wrong. He falls as a star into the left foot of a man standing in a garden at Felpham, while the female portion of himself follows him into time to be found again. The short preface, beginning with feet on England's mountains, is the only part most readers know.
