Peter Pan

J. M. Barrie · 1904 CE · Play · English · Modernist

A boy who ran away the day he was born comes back to a Bloomsbury nursery for the shadow he left behind, and takes the three Darling children out of the window on the promise that they need never grow up. Never Land supplies lost boys, a fairy jealous by nature, and a captain whose one fear is the clock ticking inside a crocodile. Barrie kept rewriting it for twenty years and assigned the copyright to a children's hospital.
