Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Five golden tickets are hidden in chocolate bars sold worldwide, and the last of them reaches a boy whose family of six shares one bed and a pot of cabbage soup. The chocolatier nobody has seen outside his gates in years walks the winners past edible grass and a river of chocolate, warning each child exactly once. Dahl rewrote the Oompa-Loompas in 1973 after the NAACP objected to their first depiction.
