Prince Caspian

C. S. Lewis · 1951 CE · Novel · English · Contemporary

A year after coming home the four children are pulled off a railway platform into a wood, and work out that the ruin they are camped in is their own castle a thousand-odd years on. Telmarine invaders hold the country, the talking beasts have gone into hiding, and the rightful heir has blown an old horn for help. Lewis glossed the book as the restoration of true religion after a corruption.
