The Bingo Palace
Lipsha Morrissey drifts back to the reservation with no plan at all, falls for a dancer already entangled with his uncle, and takes a job in the bingo hall that same uncle means to grow into a casino on land the Pillagers hold. A vision quest undertaken for the wrong reasons produces a skunk and some very direct advice. Fourth of the North Dakota novels, and the one where the cycle's money question arrives.
