Hyperion
Saturn sits fallen and voiceless in a shaded valley, his right hand nerveless on the ground, while Thea kneels beside him and the other Titans lie scattered through a den of shapeless rock. Only Hyperion still holds his palace of flame, and the order that has displaced them is represented by a boy on Delos in whom a knowledge is coming on that he cannot name. Keats abandoned it in 1819, telling Reynolds there were too many Miltonic inversions in it.
