Hamlet
A prince returns to Elsinore to find his father dead, his mother remarried to his uncle, and a ghost demanding revenge. He spends the play testing whether the ghost told the truth, and whether he can bring himself to act on it. The archetypal tragedy of paralysis: a mind that cannot move against a world insisting it must.
